(This info is about all we have so far, quite likely I'll make up my own stuff to go with it as we go :P)
Detective Kat Miller, 32
Kat has been a Homicide Detective in the Cold Case unit, for roughly a year. Before this, she worked Narcotics. In discovering some cold case evidence in an old crack house, she met Lieutenant Stillman of the Cold Case unit. She offered her assistance to the case in any way she was needed. Following this, Stillman asked her if she would join his squad. She was excited to learn the job and really help out solving the old cases that had no justice. She became only the second female Homicide Detective in Philly. She gets along with her coworkers quite well, but finds her partner Nick Vera slightly a pain. She puts up with him with a smile, however. Kat doesn't bring her life to work, especially not her daughter Veronica. As a single mom of a 8 year old girl, Kat does the very best she can do. She is committed to her job for the city of Philadelphia, and will do what she can to bring success in closing the cases that should have closed long before.
